Condor – for independent suspension
With every step in Condor, 27 shock-absorbing studs can retract independently into the mid-sole to cushion touch-down impact on hard or rugged running surfaces. No matter haw the foot lands and rolls, Condor gives a smooth, soft ‘ride’. It’s the closest thing to independent suspension. Condor’s special sole profile, with its saw profile perimeter, provides excellent traction on softer surfaces too. But there’s more to Condor than suspension and traction. The rounded heel and toe part guarantee a natural roll action of the foot, and maximum stability is maintained through the flared heel and shank areas. And for additional comfort, Condor’s uppers are made of Cangoran – a leather-like, handwearing synthetic material that forms to the foot in no time. For a running shoe that incorporates all these advanced adidas features, Condor is surprisingly inexpensive too.
Condor is a creation of Adi Dassler the man behind the adidas name.
